About the Founder: As a physician and marathon runner who also has a sweet tooth, Sherif Badawy thinks indulgence should still be good for you. Inspired by baking masters in Jordan, his version is packed with premium nuts and minimal sugar. The original label on individual packs had an expiry period of 12 months ending in March 2025. A label stuck over that said it expires in August 2025. I had bought this for my colleagues and it may appeared like I was giving them something that was expired.

Absolutely loved my first order from Dar Baklava! Each piece had the perfect amount of sweetness—so satisfying without being overwhelming. I also really appreciated the clean ingredients and thoughtful packaging. No sticky fingers, no mess—just pure deliciousness. Best baklava ever! So fresh and not sticky at all! I wasn't necessarily looking for a reduced sugar option but you don't even miss it. Going to order more now!
I bought a smaller sampler of Dar Baklava and wish I’d gotten more! These are delicious, and the lower sugar helps bring out the delicious flavors of the nuts, pastry, and spices. And no sticky fingers makes these (too?) easy to snack on!

I want to share my experience with Dar Baklava. I ordered the variety pack the first time, to get a taste of all the different flavors available. Each variety is individually packaged in four piece boxes and they are filled with green Pistachios, Walnuts, Cashews, or a mixture of nuts. They are quite beautifully put together, especially the Cashew Bird's Nest. The website is easy to navigate and they arrive quickly. I placed an additional order to share with family and friends for a party at our home. We enjoy the freshness, amazing flavors, Dar's commitment to a healthier baklava, and of course, "No Sticky Fingers. I would highly recommend you give it a try.
I love the bite-sized portions and packaging of Dar Baklava. They are such easy, guilt-free snacks that satisfy my craving for something sweet after a meal without being too heavy.
